The Arizona Mathematics Leaders (AML) group exists to build collaboration and share expertise among mathematics leaders throughout the state. AML provides ongoing experiences, information, and support to enable mathematics educators to assume leadership roles. In addition, AML establishes and maintains a communication network among mathematics and educational leaders.

The shared purpose of AML is to create opportunities for math leaders to collaborate, share success, and support each other with leading improved student achievement. We strive to become a community of problem solvers, leaders in math education, and a "go-to" resource for math leadership in Arizona. We have a shared belief that all students can be successful in mathematics and are committed to supporting leaders throughout the state to engage students in rich mathematics leaning experiences to meet the AZ College and Career Readiness Standards.
