Tuesday, September 22, 2026 (EST Timezone)
The HQIM-M Virtual Showcase brings together mathematics education leaders, district and school administrators, and educators to explore effective approaches for selecting and implementing High-Quality Instructional Materials for Mathematics (HQIM-M).
Grounded in NCSM's vision for high-quality, equitable mathematics teaching and learning, this virtual experience focuses on building coherent, transparent, and equity-centered systems for instructional materials selection and implementation. Across a series of sessions, participants will examine each phase of the HQIM-M process—from establishing a shared vision and evaluating local context to conducting evidence-based materials reviews, making informed selection decisions, and sustaining successful implementation through ongoing support and continuous improvement.
Designed specifically for mathematics leaders, the showcase combines practical frameworks, actionable tools, and real-world examples to help participants lead meaningful instructional change in their schools and districts. The event concludes with a panel discussion highlighting lessons learned, implementation strategies, and insights from leaders who have successfully navigated the HQIM-M process.
Participants will leave with practical resources, guiding questions, and a clearer roadmap for leading a collaborative materials selection process that supports equitable mathematics instruction and long-term success.
